In "Ralph Breaks the Internet", this film takes off from the first film. Best buddies Ralph and Vanellope are in for another adventure.
The story is about the two travelling into the internet to get a replacement part (a steering wheel) for Vannelope's arcade game Sugar Rush. Their adventure took them to the internet where their friendship is tested.
A great well thought of film, we were impressed with the details that went into it. For internet savvy movie goers, we could really connect with the two when they traverse in the internet. How they pass through the cables, through the router, through different gateways to finally reach the internet, we can now visualize how our data is being processed.
The two went to a search engine, and was taken for a ride to their search result. When we do a search, result hits come instantly and when we click an item, we are brought to that site. Similar to our leads, they ride a vehicle when they hit enter. Its entertaining to visualize what we have been doing online yet we don't give much thought of how it does that.
Midway along the search for that "steering wheel", they are confronted with the concept of "money" which they didn't know of at the arcade. They won the bid for that part and since they don't know "money", this part now is in danger of being lost. They have to come up with the moolah fast and this is where the adventure and friendship test begins.
Their friendship is put on a pressure cooker with Ralph being his goofy and paranoid self. His actions brings stress to the max for Vanellope that it almost wrecked their friendship along with the internet.
All the details are so well placed in the story that we got immersed into the film. This movie is far more greater than its predecessor. We are surprised that an animation film can give such a feeling of happiness, cookieness, anger, regret and contentment all within two hours.
There are so much going on in the film that from start to finish you will like this. Some of you guys might not like the idea of this, but the attention to details are similar to that of Ready Player One. If you you like the latter, then you surely be blown by this one ,Disneywise that is.
